Thomas Partey has been hit with two additional rape charges, prosecutors have confirmed.
The former Arsenal midfielder previously appeared in court, where he denied allegations of raping two women and sexually assaulting a third. He is scheduled to stand trial in November over those charges.
In a statement issued this morning, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said the new counts relate to a separate report of alleged non-recent offences dating back to 2020. The CPS added that the latest allegations were reported in August last year and followed a new investigation by the Metropolitan Police
