Member of Parliament for Okaikwei South, Ernest Adomako, has extended Christmas gesture to widows
Member of Parliament for Okaikwei South Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Ernest Adomako (Keon), has extended a heartwarming Christmas gesture to widows in the constituency as part of activities marking the festive season.
On 20th December 2025, the MP donated bags of rice and live chickens to several widows, aimed at supporting them during Christmas and easing their daily struggles. The donation formed part of his commitment to social responsibility and community care.
Quoting the biblical verse, “Blessed is the one who considers the widow,” Mr. Adomako emphasized the importance of showing compassion and standing with the vulnerable, especially during seasons of celebration.
He noted that caring for widows and other disadvantaged groups should not be left to government alone but must be a shared responsibility among leaders and community members.
The widows expressed gratitude for the kind gesture, describing it as timely and reassuring, particularly during the festive period when many face economic hardship.
The donation reflects Mr. Adomako’s ongoing efforts to promote compassion, inclusion, and social support within the Okaikwei South Constituency.
