Fire Service Rescues 26 in Kintampo Vehicle Crash

The Ghana National Fire Service has rescued 26 people following a vehicle crash that led to a fire near the Kintampo Waterfalls.
The incident occurred when a Mercedes Sprinter bus collided with vehicles that had been parked during a towing operation involving a Kia Bongo truck, triggering a blaze.
Fire officers responded quickly and managed to rescue all the trapped victims from the burning vehicle. Three of the injured persons who were in critical condition were immediately rushed to the Kintampo Municipal Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Authorities are yet to release further details as investigations into the cause of the accident continue.
